Study at University of Ljubljana

Description

From the organizer:

APPLICATION DEADLINES FOR ENROLMENT IN THE
FACULTIES OF THE UNIVERSITY OF LJUBLJANA HAVE BEEN PUBLISHED

The application period for enrolment in the 1st year of bachelor’s and integrated master’s degree programmes for candidates from the Western Balkans region runs from 17 February until 20 April!

The University of Ljubljana is the largest and oldest Slovenian university, ranked among the top 3% of the best universities in the world. This academic year has almost 40,000 students. For the last several years, many international students have come from the Western Balkans region. In this academic year, there are 3508
International students studying at the University of Ljubljana this academic year, 1612 of whom are enrolled in bachelor’s and integrated master’s programmes, 1512 in master’s programmes, and 384 in doctoral programmes. And what is most important in this context is that students from the Western Balkans region can study under the same conditions as Slovenian students.

Slovenia is part of a bilateral agreement with countries (Bosnia and Hercegovina, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia and Kosovo) from this region, in accordance with which students from these countries are not required to pay a tuition fee for bachelor’s and master’s degree programmes unless they have already acquired an equivalent level of education. The tuition fee is mandatory for all part-time students and doctoral students, although there is a possibility of co-financing PhD students.
