Journalism is all about passion and drive. This is the main reason why I ended up studying it at university and pursuing it as my professional career as an investigative journalist. Through journalism I can express myself, to forward the relevant information to the public, and also to give voice to those people who might not have a chance to do express their views often. I do indeed think that the press and media are extremely important for the right functioning of every democratic society, and I am happy to give my contribution to nurturing such a society.
